Community Garden Program Orientation

Welcome to Missoula's Community Garden Program!

Whatever your level of gardening experience, gardening at a place in the community is often an entirely new experience. This mandatory orientation will help orient you to Garden City Harvest's community garden program and help set you up for a successful season! Please note that this 30-minute orientation is for those who recently received a garden plot at one of Garden City Harvest's 11 community garden sites.

This orientation will cover:

• Meet your community garden staff and learn who is your primary point of contact

• 2025 events and important dates

• Communications and resources

• Volunteer opportunities

• General garden operations and expectations
