Instructor & farmer, Greg Price, at our River Road Farm.
About the Instructor:
Greg Price, River Road Farm Director
Greg Price has farmed with Garden City Harvest for over 25 years, growing large amounts of diversified crops on only 4 acres of land. Along the way, he has trained apprentices that now run their own successful farms, and taught many of his CSA farm share members how to cook seasonally from the food you can eat now or store for later. Greg believes that the best defense against pests and disease is healthy soil. He will bring to this class a depth of practical and researched knowledge in building River Road’s soil, managing both the community garden’s compost pile and the farm’s, and the cycles that benefit the soil and our gardens.
