In the second how-to video on tomato care, farmer Clare, Farm Director at Orchard Gardens, transplants tomato starts from channel trays to 4" pots -- an important step to give them room to grow.

But the techniques used in this video extend to transplanting tomatoes, peppers, and the brassica plant family whether you are transplanting into larger pots, or into the ground (as you might on the Great Day of Planting, coming up on May 21st!).
