WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Nothing harnesses the joy of summer like a bright bouquet of flowers. But the benefits of flowers extend far beyond their beauty. Join Community Gardens Coordinator and pollinator expert Rye Dickson and Community Gardens Assistant and flower artist Tara Santi in an exploration of bees, flowers and how they collaborate in nature.
This workshop will include a mosey around the PEAS Farm flower patches to discuss tips for growing and caring for your own flowers and which flowers best support pollinators. Finish the workshop with a tutorial on arranging flowers and bring home your own bouquet!
Whether you enjoy them for their looks, their flavor or the benefits they provide to your garden, this workshop will leave you with a whole new perspective on the value of flowers!
**Kiddos and youth are welcome!**
We ask that any participant under the age of 12 is accompanied by an adult.
